Keep it square:

Your QR codes should always remain square in shape. Your code may not be scannable if you change the aspect ratio.

Keep it clear:

Ensure that your QR codes have at least 3mm of blank space on all sides. This space that separates your QR codes from the surrounding design keeps it easily scannable.

Size matters:

You are free to place your QR codes on a wide variety of printed materials. When doing so, it’s important to consider the size of the QR code. Make sure it’s large enough so that it’s clearly "find-able", but it also shouldn’t take up the whole design.

Quality is important:

QR codes should be printed at high quality. Any blurring or fading of your QR code could make it unscannable. Don't enlarge your QR code image file to avoid any pixelation that may occur.

Include a Call to Action (CTA):

Don't leave your customers wondering how to order. Including a CTA (eg. “Scan QR code to order”) gives your customers clear instructions on what to do. Downloading your MondoMenu QR code with signage can also help with this.

Contrast is key:

Keep a high level of contrast between your QR code and its background. A lack of contrast can make your QR code unscannable.
