1. Navigating the categories tab

2. Alter category sequence

The order of categories in your portal reflects the order your customers will see on the menu.

Click and hold the hamburger icon to reorder categories.

3. Temporarily take a category off the menu

In some instances, you may want to make a category temporarily unavailable e.g. coffee machine is turned off for cleaning.

If you make a category Not available, it will hide the category. It will not not remove any products in that category that may be set up as a recommendation.

Don’t forget to turn your categories back on - otherwise guests will not be able to order from the menu!

  1. Go to the Status column
  2. Click on the arrow next to Available
  3. Change status to Not available

4. Customise category availability times

This is a great feature for automating when to turn a category on or off. For example, you may have products on your menu that are only available at certain times such as breakfast, lunch or specials.

  1. Select the pen icon to edit
  2. Under Availability hours Select Custom Hours
  3. Select the day/days you want the category to be available
  4. Select the pen icon to edit individual days hours.

5. Assign new products to a category

If a new product is added to your menu, you must assign it to a category for customers to see it on your menu.

  1. Click on Category name i.e. Tea, and all products in that category will pop-up
  2. Select + Assign Products
  3. Click the check boxes to select the products you want to add
  4. Click Save

To edit a product, select the pen icon.
