If you allow pick-up or delivery orders, you can also enable pre-ordering. If enabled your customers will be able to select a date & time to collect their order.
The first thing you should do is set the default wait times that will apply to all orders that are placed outside of your venue. You can do this in the Wait Times page within Venue Settings. This wait time will automatically be applied to every order and displayed to your customer as the approximate pickup time. For deliveries, in addition to the default wait time, we will also calculate an approximate time for delivery based on the delivery address (determined by Google Maps).

Enabling pre-orders
You can enable preordering from the Pre-orders page within Venue settings. You can also set a Maximum preorder window (this is the maximum days in advance that customers can preorder).
- Go to the Pre-orders page within venue settings
- Click Enable
- Select the maximum number of days in advance a customer can pre-order.
- Click Save changes.
