Docket printing with MondoMenu
If you want to connect MondoMenu to your docket/receipt printer, you need to firstly ensure your printer is connected to the device you are running MondoMenu on. Once that's done, the steps to connect are easy.
Step 1 - Download our software for printing
WINDOWS:
To set up your docket printer for printing with MondoMenu, you need to install this software:

You may have anti-virus software on your computer that prevents our app from running automatically. If this occurs, please click on More Info>Run anyway. If you get a message asking you if you want to run the software please select "Yes".
You need Java installed to run our software. If you do not have Java installed, you will be requested to install it as part of the process.
Click on the green printer in your taskbar to install the software QZ Tray Setup. Select Next>Install.
You will see a message like this as part of the Install:
Don't be alarmed, this is your anti virus software doing its job! You can select "Allow" here and tick the box to "Remember this decision" so you don't need to worry about doing it again. It will only apply to our software.
You will only need to go through this process once. Once installed you should see this icon in your top right taskbar.
MAC:
To set up your docket printer for printing with MondoMenu, you need to install this software:

Follow the prompts to install it on your computer.
Next download and install the following software.

You may get a message to say this file may harm your computer. If this occurs select "Keep". You may also need to go into your security & privacy settings to allow the download.
You will also see a message like this as part of the Install:

Step 2 - set up your print setup in your venue settings:
Make sure your printer is connected and switched on.
From your portal, go to the Print Setup page in your Venue Settings.
- Select Add printer
- Type in your printer name
- Select your printer model from the drop down list
- Select your printer size
- Enter your serial number
- Select whether you want food orders, drink orders or other orders to go to your printer
- Click Add printer
Step 3 - do a test
Create or go to a live order in your order screen. Select the printer button and check that the order prints!
Printer troubleshooting
If you can't print it's most likely because your printer is not connected to your device or you've not downloaded and installed the software completely.
If your printer is not connected to the device you're using for MondoMenu, you need to do this first. If you're not sure how to do this you can contact us at support@mondoconnex.com (please provide your printer model) and we may be able to assist. The website for your printer model is also likely to have instruction manuals on how to connect your devices.
You will know if your printer is not connected if, when you select your printer model in the print set up screen, it doesn't appear.
If you've not installed the software properly you will not see the q-tray icon in your taskbar. You should go through step 1 again or you can contact us at support@mondoconnex.com for support.
