Pre-set up checklist
Before adding a new product, make sure you have the following:
- Product image
- Product description
- Product availability times
- Dietary, alcohol or other menu tag information
- Any recommendations you would like to add
Note: standard SLA turnarounds apply for new design/image work for new beverages.

Why can’t I change some of the product details in the MondoMenu portal?
While there are many features in the Mondomenu portal that you can customise at venue-level, you won’t be able to make changes to information that is directly linked to your POS.
This is because the POS is the “source-of-truth” for things like product name, price, size options and condiment modifiers.
You will need to contact your System Administrator to have these items updated in your POS.
Why are some products appearing as “Hidden” in the MondoMenu portal?
If MondoMenu is unable to find a matching POS record for an existing item, or the product properties have significantly changed in Simphony, it will mark the item as unavailable and then change the item’s status to hidden.
In most instances, a new “version” of the product has been created and is ready for you to assign to your digital menu. To check, simply conduct a search in the Manage Menu Product List screen of the MondoMenu portal.
If you can’t find an updated version of the product, contact your Systems Administrator.
Why am I seeing duplicate sizes and/or prices for some beverages?
You will need to contact your System Administrator to investigate how these items have been set-up in the POS.
